Since it's inception 5 years ago, the Coda Jazz Fund has raised over $140,000 through donations and ticket sales from the Annual Coda Jazz Fund benefit concerts.

To date, it has provided over $30,000 in funeral & burial assistance for deceased Kansas City area jazz musicians & vocalists. This much needed support is made possible through the efforts and sponsorship of our corporate partners, community volunteers, and individual Kansas Citians.

Recognizing achievement and honoring Kansas City area musical jazz “pioneers” for their dedication and commitment to Jazz.

The Lifetime Achievement Awards are presented during the annual Coda Jazz Fund benefit concert event before an audience of 500 KC Jazz devotees.
